WOLF PUP GETS A NAME! CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCED!
BONNIE SPRINGS--Guess what?! I have a name! Amanda Wornham, age 12 from Henderson NV, gave me the name "Makiya" (which is pronounced Ma-Ki-Ya)! I can't wait to hear you calling my name at Bonnie Springs Ranch! Just come on over to Bonnie Springs Ranch and ask for "Makiya"!

BONNIE SPRINGS RANCH TO THE RESCUE!
BONNIE SPRINGS--Have you ever seen wild horses? Well, I'm a wild horse! A bunch of my friends, including my baby brother and sister, were rounded up by the BLM and the Wild Horse Association to get special care. It gets pretty rough in the Spring Mountains for wild animals this time of the year. It's hard for us wild horses to find food and fresh water, but thanks to the kindness of everyone involved, our bellies are full and we are much healthier! We're anxiously waiting for more rain to help end the drought so we can return to our home in the Spring Mountains, but we sure are enjoying our visit with the folks on the Ranches!
Come visit all of the animals at Bonnie Springs Ranch
"7 DAYS A WEEK"!

HIGHWAY 159 CONSTRUCTION ALMOST DONE!
BONNIE SPRINGS--Our Ranch has remained opened during all the improvements being made to highway 159. THE CONSTRUCTION IS NOW DONE!! We're looking forward to your visit at Bonnie Springs Ranch!

"HOUDINI" COMES HOME WITH A HIP NEW NOSE RING!
BONNIE SPRINGS--Remember me? I'm the 200-pound baby Texas Longhorn Calf, that did a little disappearing act last month. I'm growing so fast that my friends at Bonnie Springs Ranch actually let me get my nose pierced! I wish I could tell you that it's just a cool new look. But the truth is, I'm going to grow up to be 2,500-pounds with 8-foot long horns and my nose ring will be used to help control me so I don't run away again. I promised not to run away, but now I'll never be tempted to try it again! Would you try it if someone were holding a ring that was attached to your nose? I didn't think so! I know you don't want to get your nose pierced, but come and see mine at Bonnie Springs Ranch!

COME SEE MISS BONNIE AND HER SHEEP!
BONNIE SPRINGS ---Baa! Hi there kids! I'm one of Miss Bonnie's sheep at Bonnie Springs Ranch! Boy was I ever hot, but now I feel so relieved since Miss Bonnie sheared my hair nice and short! Did you know that my hair is called wool, and it's used to make lots of different things like blankets and sweaters? I bet you can't do that with you hair! Come to Bonnie Springs and you just might get a chance to see the shearing for yourself!

JULY BROUGHT RAIN AND HOPE
BONNIE SPRINGS --Did you get to enjoy the raindrops on July 17th? We know that the wild animals and the vegetation in the Canyon sure appreciated it! Maybe you missed a day of swimming or playing outside because of the rain, but did you know that rain is very important for all the thirsty plants and animals? Think about how happy the animals were to cool off in the rain! And the rain helps the plants to grow. Wild animals depend on plants for food. We were very happy to see rain at Bonnie Springs, and so were the wild horses!

YOU CAN ALWAYS BEAT THE HEAT AT BONNIE SPRINGS RANCH!
Wow! It sure is hot outside! Did you know that it's 8 to 10 degrees cooler than Las Vegas, at Bonnie Springs Ranch? So don't let the heat keep you from enjoying all your animal friends at Bonnie Springs Ranch! Y'all come out and see for yourselves!
